Privacy Notice & Permission
Due to the change in the General Data Protection Register from the 25th May 2018 we are legally required to inform you of the following and obtain your permission to store necessary information about you.
What information do we collect about you?
We collect and store information about you and your pets only when you register with us to use our services by generating a client file. Information is not held and a client file is not generated if you contact us for a quote or have a question about our services.
Our boarding system requires;
- Your Name
- Your Address
- Contact Number
- Pets Details including medical conditions and reports.
- Veterinary Details (if you have one)
- Rabbits Vaccination Details
We cannot proceed with a booking/ reservation without obtaining these details. Client files are archived when our services have not been used by that client for over 36 months, we hold name and address details for 5 years for our accounts.
How will we use this information?
We use this information to generate bookings, invoices, receipts, boarding consent forms, our own accounts. We also use the information provided to ensure we can meet the needs of your pet and that they meet our boarding requirements.
How this information is stored?
This is stored on a secure independent computer system.
Is this information shared?
The only organisations this information is shared with are;
- Vets - should your pet require veterinary attention whilst in our care.
- Our insurance company should a claim arise.
We may share your information with, and obtain information about you and your pet from your own registered vet.
Access to your information and correction
You have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you. This can be done via email to [email protected] and we will provide this information free of charge within 30 days.
You have the right to withdraw consent on the information we hold that is not a legal requirement at anytime, this must be done via email to [email protected] or by clicking on the link at the bottom of this page.
We want to make sure that your information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
We do not share or sell your information to others, we do at times contact our clients via email with newsletters, surveys or updates about changes to our service.You can opt into this service below.
